The Town Council organise several community events for the town each year. Upcoming events are listed below as well as on facebook and twitter, where you can view event photos and engage in comment.

Would you like your community event listed?

We are happy to share local events on our website and associated social media pages. Events can also be listed in our bi-monthly newsletter (space permitting) and in print format on our town centre noticeboards and display racks outside the Council Offices.

Email your event poster to events@stneots-tc.gov.uk. Please include event description, date, times, contact details and supporting images.

Dementia Awareness Week 14- 20 May

Can you help to make St. Neots a Dementia Friendly Town?

During Dementia Awareness Week this May (14th – 21st) St Neots is hosting several dementia awareness sessions around the town throughout the week. The one hour sessions are free to attend and open to all.

Mon 15th May           Tesco Community room, 10am and 2pm

Wed 17th May           St. Neots Library 10am and 2pm

Thurs 18th May         Nelson Lodge Care Home, 10am and 2pm

Fri 19th May              Priory Centre, 10am and 2pm

Sat 20th May            Tea Party Launch at Nelson Lodge, 10am

Tesco Community Fun Day Sunday 16 July

Venue: Regatta Meadow, St Neots

Tesco’s Community Team are bringing back the popular Family Fun Day to St Neots again this year. The event will take place on Sunday 16 July on Regatta Meadow.

St Neots Town Council have teamed up with the Rotary Club of St Neots St Mary’s and St Neots Dragon Boat Team to bring this fun, team event to a wider audience, enabling people of all ages and fitness levels to give the sport a try whilst having an enjoyable day out with friends and family and at the same time raising funds for local charities.

Why enter the St Neots Charity Dragon Boat Race?

  • No experience is necessary, all ages and fitness levels are invited to participate
  • St Neots provides the premier race venue in the region, taking place on Regatta Meadow along the picturesque River Great Ouse.
  • We are the only charity dragon boat event offering free training sessions, led by experienced Dragon Boat Team professionals for all entered teams.
  • Our team entry fees are lower than all other regional races including Cambridge, Milton Keynes and Peterborough.
  • A fun day out is guaranteed for competitors and spectators alike with plenty of bankside entertainment on offer including live race commentary, food sellers, a licensed bar, children’s activities and more.

St Neots Business Showcase

St Neots Town Council are working in partnership with Huntingdonshire Chamber of Commerce to deliver the third annual Business Showcase exhibition.

Local businesses are invited to exhibit on St Neots Market Square to raise awareness of products and services and bring in new customers. This unique outdoor business exhibition is open to all local businesses and provides a B2B and B2C promotional and sales opportunity for participants.

At only £40.00 for a pitch, it’s a great opportunity to come together to show what St Neots has to offer. If you’re a business situated within St Neots or the surrounding
villages, join us to promote your products and services, distribute samples, promote special offers and raise awareness of your business offering.

Weekly timetable of activities at the Priory Centre & Eatons Community Centre

The Priory Centre and Eaton’s Community Centre have a multitude of activities on offer for the local community each week. An example of the weekly timetable is available to view here. Some sessions are organised by independent groups; contact details are listed on the timetable.

The Priory Centre has a cafe serving hot and cold beverages, snacks and lunch. During the summer months customers can enjoy the beautiful riverside terrace.
